For book clubs
Book club software that handles everything but the reading
Twenty people say they're in, seven turn up, and the group chat is a wall of "are we still on Thursday?" — the book club stack of a WhatsApp group and a shared spreadsheet stops working the month your club gets popular. IRL.OS runs the whole club from one system, under your club's own name.

Meeting nights on rails
Set the recurring evening up once: capacities, meeting points, member-only slots, waitlists that auto-promote when someone drops. Members get the club's own iOS and Android app with every meeting in one place, personal calendar feeds, and push reminders that reach them without an algorithm in between.
Fix the RSVP problem
Free events attract flaky RSVPs and pay-to-join kills the vibe; the third option is accountability. Attendance is tracked automatically at check-in (QR or a geofence around the venue), no-show rules are configurable per event, and the most-wanted sessions can require a real attendance record to book.
Who ends up in which circle
Group matching assigns checked-in members into discussion circles and remembers who sat together last time, so newcomers actually meet people. Every meeting opens its own chat room on schedule and retires it afterwards, and the drink afterwards organises itself through member-run meetups instead of dying in a 300-person group chat.
Memberships and your own app
Regulars become members: paid tiers with early booking windows, member pricing on paid sessions and socials, perks you define. All of it under the club's own brand and app, with the dashboard showing real attendance, growth and retention.
"Can't I just use…?"
You can. Communities do — until the community part starts to matter.
They sell tickets to strangers.
They end at the ticket. IRL.OS sells tickets too. It also runs the community around them (door, matching, memberships, your app, your Stripe, no per-ticket toll).
They rent you an audience.
Your group lives inside their brand, their app, their inbox. IRL.OS puts your app in the App Store — your icon on the member's home screen, your push notifications, your data. When you leave a rented platform, your members stay behind. Here, they were never anyone else's.
They're built for the internet.
Forums, courses, cohorts — great for online communities. IRL.OS is built for rooms: doors, tables, no-shows, city chapters, and the awkward magic of strangers actually meeting. The software follows people into real life instead of trying to keep them online.
White-label, not a science project.
It's white-label, not custom development: your name, icon, colors and store listing are configuration, the build and submission pipeline is automated, and fixes ship over the air the same day. You get a flagship-quality app without hiring a mobile team.
Book club software — fair questions
Does IRL.OS work for free book clubs?
Yes. Free meetings are first-class: RSVPs, waitlists, check-in and no-show accountability all work without charging anyone — and paid socials or memberships can be added whenever the club is ready.
Can we run several groups on the same night?
Yes — capacities and tickets per group, plus automatic group matching at check-in that mixes newcomers in and avoids repeating last month's groups.
Do members need another app?
They get your app — your club's name and icon in the App Store and Google Play, with meetings, chat, their group and their new connections inside. That's an upgrade over a group chat, not another tool.
Does it work for paid and free formats together?
Yes. Mix ticketed evenings, free meetings and members-only sessions in one calendar, each with its own pricing, capacity and access rules.
